3-Step Ritual

Soak your skin in warm water for at least 5 min, longer is better.
Use only water, with no soap or chemicals.
A warm bath works better because your skin stays soaked.
Exfoliate clean, damp skin with long strokes up and down.
Start gently, especially the first time, and repeat as needed.
Don’t worry if you don’t see peeling, buildup differs by person.
The mitt still exfoliates, leaving skin softer and smoother.
Clean your skin with water and gently pat dry.
Then apply moisturizer to lock in hydration.

What if I don’t see dead skin peeling off?

That’s completely normal. Visible peeling varies from person to person and isn’t required for effective exfoliation. Focus on how smooth and freshly exfoliated your skin looks and feels.

Why does my mitt smell after using it?

That means it’s working! The smell can come from the dead skin, oils, sweat, and buildup removed from your skin. Rinse the mitt thoroughly after use and hang it to dry completely.

Can it help with body acne or body odor?

Exfoliating removes dead skin buildup and helps keep pores clear, which can support cleaner, smoother-looking skin. Avoid exfoliating active or irritated acne.

Can exfoliating damage my skin?

Not when used correctly. You control how hard you exfoliate, so start with gentle pressure and adjust to what feels comfortable for your skin.

What skin concerns can it help with?

Regular exfoliation can help improve the look and feel of rough, flaky and bumpy skin, strawberry legs, KP-like texture and ingrown-prone areas. It can also help lift away old, patchy fake tan. Results vary depending on your skin and routine.

Why two mitts?

We recommend using the White Mitt for your upper body (chest, arms, shoulders and neck) and the Black Mitt for your lower body (legs, buttocks and feet).

This keeps your routine more hygienic, while allowing you to use firmer exfoliation on areas like strawberry legs without wearing out your White Mitt faster.

How often should I use it?

Start with once a week. If your skin tolerates it well, you can increase to twice a week. Avoid daily use.

Can I use it on my face or back?

The Body Mitt is designed for your body. For your face, we recommend our Face Mitt, and for hard-to-reach areas, our Back Towel. Both are available separately or included free with the Bundle.

How do I get the best results?

Use the mitt on clean, wet skin without soap or body wash, apply light pressure, and moisturise afterwards. Consistent weekly use delivers the best results.

Can I use it before shaving, waxing or self-tan?

Yes. Exfoliate before shaving, waxing or applying self-tan for smoother skin and a more even finish. Wait 24–48 hours after shaving or waxing before exfoliating again.

How quickly will I notice results?

Many people notice softer skin after their first use. More visible improvements in rough texture or ingrown hairs usually require several weeks of consistent use.

How do I clean my mitt?

Rinse your mitt thoroughly after each use to remove dead skin and product residue. Allow it to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area, and wash it regularly according to the care instructions to keep it clean and hygienic. With proper care, your Glisea Mitt is designed to be reused for months.
